Spinner Shark

Over the years, I’ve become better at spotting sharks from above, learning to recognize their faint silhouettes in a variety of conditions. Unlike the broad, sweeping feeding behaviors of whales and other filter feeders, sharks are more tactile and deliberate. They move slowly, often targeting specific individuals before striking in sudden bursts. Their movements and interactions with other creatures are some of the most unique and compelling behaviors I witness. Sharks can be curious and controlled, just as easily displaying caution and timidity as they do confidence and power.
